It’s Joe Salome here, reaching out directly from the heart of The Georgia Hemp Company. I recently had the pleasure of joining the L.I.F.E on Podcast, where we delved deep into the intricacies of hemp, my personal journey, and the vision we’re building here at the heart of Georgia.

Growing up in Las Vegas and spending my formative years surrounded by the rigors of a military family and the vibrant energy of a city like Vegas, I learned a lot about navigating various worlds. It gave me a unique lens into understanding and connecting with different people and cultures, and it played a significant role in leading me towards the hemp industry – an industry that, even today, is finding its foothold amidst various challenges.

I fondly recall the earlier days when the concept of hemp and cannabis was still battling stigmas. Back then, getting a bank to acknowledge us without using a pseudonym felt like a monumental task. Today, we’ve come a long way, and I’m proud to say we’ve done it without ever compromising our authenticity. The journey hasn’t always been smooth, but it’s been incredibly rewarding.

As we discussed on the podcast, my Lebanese roots, combined with my exposure to business-driven family members, have played a significant role in shaping my entrepreneurial spirit. And it’s this spirit that drives our mission at The Georgia Hemp Company: to provide not just products, but a lifestyle rooted in wellness and holistic health.

The journey from using hemp as a teenager to co-founding The Georgia Hemp Company has been a long, intricate, and enlightening one.
