The Green Hat Classic Golf Tournament Shines, Raising Over $50,000 for The Kyle Pease Foundation

Hosted by The Georgia Hemp Company and Sympleaf Sport CBD, the 3rd Annual Green Hat Classic Golf Tournament was a resounding success, attracting over 150 golfers from across the country, including cities like Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and New York City. This cherished event took place at Heritage Golf Links in Tucker, Georgia, uniting the community for a cause that’s close to our hearts—supporting The Kyle Pease Foundation, which enhances the lives of individuals with disabilities by integrating them into the world of sports.

This year’s tournament not only celebrated sportsmanship and community spirit but also successfully raised over $50,000. These funds will significantly enhance the foundation’s programming and support athletes as they compete in races globally. Before the tournament commenced, The Kyle Pease Foundation honored The Georgia Hemp Company co-founders, Ryan Dills and Joe Salome, with a framed wheel cover from a racing wheelchair used in season competitions, symbolizing the speed of their support and the distance their help will go.

Brent Pease, Executive Director of The Kyle Pease Foundation, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the partnership, “Working with Georgia Hemp has empowered us to continue our mission and extend our reach to families, providing them not just with sports opportunities but also with valuable resources for comprehensive care.” He added, “The Green Hat Classic is an incredible platform that elevates our cause and celebrates inclusion, brought into the spotlight by Georgia Hemp’s unwavering support.”

The event saw a variety of notable attendees, including sports personalities and business leaders such as Brian Finneran, former Atlanta Falcon, and current radio host; Adam Peabody, co-founder of Flora; and Andrew Stallings, president of Athelo Group, among others. Major sponsors like First Citizens Bank, Flora Beverages, and SweetWater Brewing Company played pivotal roles in the day’s success.

Reflecting on the event, Ryan Dills remarked, “We are immensely thankful for the turnout and support at this year’s Green Hat Classic. It was a fantastic day of golf that went beyond just playing a sport—it was about raising awareness and funds for a noble cause, and of course, having a great time with friends and fellow supporters in Braves country.”

The Green Hat Classic kicked off a memorable 420 holiday weekend, which also included engagements like a workout session with renowned fitness expert Amy Kiser Schemper and several pop-up events around Atlanta. Highlighting the weekend, Joe Salome had the honor of throwing the first pitch at the Braves vs. Rangers game on April 20th, marking another high point in The Georgia Hemp Company’s community engagement.

As Sympleaf Sport CBD continues its exclusive partnership with the Atlanta Braves, it remains the sole provider of CBD oils, creams, and food products within the team’s portfolio, reinforcing its status as the team’s exclusive CBD partner and a leader in promoting wellness through sports.
