This year, all proceeds from the Tipsy Taps 5k will go to Walking with Moms in Need, an organization dedicated to supporting single mothers within our communities. The Route: Fitness Meets Fun
Runners, walkers, and crawlers alike will love this fun and easy route:
- Start: Pour Taproom Midtown
- Middle: Piedmont Park and onto the Beltline
- End: Pour Taproom Eastside Beltline
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun social event, this 5k offers a fantastic way to engage with the community, all while supporting a worthy cause.
The Kyle Pease Foundation Joins the Race
We’re honored to have runners from The Kyle Pease Foundation participating in this year’s event. Their commitment to inclusion and creating opportunities for athletes of all abilities is an inspiration, and we’re proud to support their mission alongside this race.
Why This Event Matters
The Tipsy Taps 5k has grown significantly
over the past three years:
- Year 1: Just under 100 racers
- Year 2: 175 registered racers
- Year 3 (2024): Aiming to exceed 250 racers!
The event’s inaugural year raised funds for the Warrick Dunn “Home for the Holidays” Charity, supporting single-parent families in disadvantaged communities. This year, with Walking with Moms in Need, we’re continuing the tradition of giving back, ensuring that every step taken by our participants creates a brighter future for those in need.
